Abstract	We propose a method to quantitatively evaluate the lighting effect of artwork based on photography data. We consider factors used for evaluation from preliminary experiments. Thereafter, the number of... identifiable colors is calculated from the photographed data. Also we calculate the average color difference. Experiments using paintings show the effectiveness of the proposed method.show more
