| 概要 |
This article explored the changing the thought toward neighborhood of elderly people who had experienced redevelopment of their own residential area in Danbara, Hiroshima, Japan. 40 people of 65 years... and older was interviewed twice in 1996 (after the development) and 1999. The results show (1) many of elderly people evaluate the present neighborhood better than past one after the redevelopment and estimation of feature, (2) changing like this relate to aecustomation and resignation, change of relationship by active approach, and on the other side, (3) they feel less close to their neighbors with the passage of time after redevelopment, and it shows the cases of trying to explain by some reasons, and (4) utility of neighborhood is common evaluation, but aspects that need seeing from others point of view is hard to be shared.
本研究は, 都市再開発によって, 従来住んでいたまちの全体的変化を経験した高齢者にとって, まちに対する思いがどのような変遷をたどるのかを検討することを目的としている。その際, 変遷を探る視点として, 1)全体的動向としての思いの変遷, 2)パターンから見られる類型としての思いの変遷, という2つの視点を主に取り上げた。65歳以上の高齢者40名を対象に2度にわたる面接調査を再開発後の1996年と更に3年後の1999年に行った結果, 昔と比ベて今のまちの方を高く評価するようになり, 今後のまちの予測と照らし合わせても, 現在である今のまちが非常にいい状態であると認識されていること, その変化には, 慣れやあきらめの原理や積極的な働きかけによるつきあいの変化が関係しており, 一方で人情面に関して, 人情が薄くなったことをよりいっそう感じるようになる変化も見られ, そこには理由づけで納得を試みてはいるが日々実感する状況が見られる。更に, まち全体として共有されるまちの評価は, 今現在のまちの使い勝手を表すようなものであり, 共有されにくい評価としては, 自分以外の視点をそれぞれが何かしら取り入れるようなものであることが示唆された。続きを見る
