概要 |
Our previous group version Stroop test measures both Stroop and reverse-Stroop interference by selecting a pertinent word or color patch from among choices printed on paper (matching response modality... : MRM). The execution time was limited to 40 seconds in this test. The execution time in the new group version test was extended to one minute to improve the accuracy of the test. In Experiment 1, we compared a MRM with a traditional oral response modality (ORM). The results showed salient Stroop interference in the ORM, but both Stroop and reverse-Stroop significant interference effects were obtained in the MRM, Experiment 2 exarmined the order effects of four conditions contained in this test, and showed no order effect in the number of correct responses, but a weak order effect in the interference rate. However, the tendency of reverse-Stroop over Stroop interference was recognized irrespective of the execution order. It is proposed that this new test might be also a valuable tool as a measure of individual differences in selective attention as well as the old version.続きを見る
