A method is presented of estimating wave forces on a large floating platform whose dimension is comparable with the topographical scale at the site. We assume the structure is supported by numerous fl...oats very small in size relatively to the structure. This method accounts for the effects of the topography such as bottom slope and wave breaking at the shore. Some examples of the predicted wave forces on a floating structure of extremely long size are presented and compared with those for no topographical effects.続きを見る
