| 概要 |
The Symptom Questionnaire (SQ) which was developed by Kellner, R. is a questionnaire with brief and simple items. It contains self-rating scale of anxiety, depression, somatic symptoms and anger-hosti...lity. The validity and reliability of this questionnaire had been confirmed by Kellner. R. comparing to other psychiatric rating scales. We have translated the SQ into Japanese version under permission of original author. The SQ of Japanese version was administered in the study for neurotic patients and normal controls. The total scores of symptom scales on 34 of neurotics and 97 of normal controls was 31.4+-16.7 and 13.4+-13.8. The SQ sensitively discriminated between neurotics and normals. The findings suggest that Japanese version of SQ are valid and sensitive scales of distress and able to be used as effectively in research as the original SQ. The SQ is useful in research in psychiatry, psychosomatic medicine and health psychology.続きを見る
