| 概要 |
High clay-content soils exhibit suboptimal geotechnical characteristics, including low shear strength, potentially leading to structural failure. This study investigates Banana Leaf Ash (BLA) as a sus...tainable alternative pozzolan to carbon-intensive cement, utilizing lime as an activator. The shear strength and geotechnical index characteristics of clayey sand altered with 5%, 10%, and 15% BLA (with 8% lime) were assessed. Reduced specific gravity, a coarser grain size distribution, higher optimal moisture content, and a lower maximum dry density were all associated with higher BLA content. The lowest Plasticity Index value was obtained at 5% BLA. Shear strength measures rose with curing time (7 and 28 days).続きを見る
