This study examines the transformation of backstreet, the Kaminoura district in Downtown Kumamoto. Several clusters of small stores are currently observed in the district. Unlike the adjacent arcade s...hopping street, the Kaminoura district was primarily a residential area and did not attract commercial attention. However, through initiatives led by an interior designer Mr. Yamano, it became evident that stores were accumulating on the Kaminoura district. As the number of stores increased, it was observed that changes occurred in the types of buildings and businesses, establishing the commercial character of the area.続きを見る
