| 概要 | In order to address the question whether resilience design can enable“recovery” after suffering psychological trauma in the wake of earthquake disasters in Japan, this paper presents an argument of wh...y recovery of losses cannot be possible in terms of narratological structure discussed in trauma studies. An alternative is explored which aims to transform the structure of traumatic narrative by means of an artistic workshop where a survivor and the author dedicate a meal for her late daughter who was killed in the Hanshin-Awaji earthquake. This new cooperative workshop with joint responsibility is named “Recipes for the Dead”. This enchanting approach of creating a recipe embodies new temporality and spatiality of loss, which promises to amend the traumatic narrative into a share-able interactive experience of bearing witness for a survivor and her empathetic counterpart.続きを見る |
