| 概要 | The design workshop was established in 1971, About 30 years have passed now. The design workshop is a building for research and instruction in Basic Art and in each department's specialty. It offers s...tudents unique opportunities to learn basic techniques to use hand and machine tools; also, to cultivate molding imagination and sensitivity towards materials, which are both essential for designers; and finally, to develop mental approach to technology. The workshop is also used to satisfy the students' various interests and needs, from graduation design productions to extracurricular activities (pottery and fine arts). Now we provide for users more information about working space and machines, in order to understand the history and contents of the design workshop. We think that it is a good opportunity to understand design movements and history of Kyushu institute of Design.続きを見る |
