1) Two types of the cells ( pale cell and fuchsinophile cell ) have been found in the adrenal cortical cells of the fowl as already reported by Uotila (1939). 2) an the contrary to the Uotila's suggestion that the pale cells are precursors of active fuchsinophile cells, the author supposes that both cell types are distinctly different.
