Abstract |
This is a case study of an encounter group using the "collaborative Method V". Four facilitator candidates each facilitated an encounter group (13 sessions, 90 minutes every week, in university campus...) and "Collaborative Method V" was introduced to the group. The candidates were also supervised by experienced facilitator. In this study, group structure and group process were described, and 2 points were discussed, (1) the meaning and problem of introduction of "theme choosing method", (2) facilitator training by "theme choose method". Encouraging members' spontaneity and helping to access group process were thought to be the meanings of "theme choosing method". THe experience that facilitator also belonged to the group as one of the members was useful for facilitator traiing. We conclude that "Collavorative Method V" is an useful method for dacilitator training.show more
