The purpose of this study is to examine the relatedness between self-efficacy of parenting for the children with developmental difficulties and social support by her husband, friends and the professionals, by means of a series of questionnaire. As a result, it was indicated that the mothers who were much supported emotionally by their friends, in comparison with the others, tended to have high level of self-efficacy to interact with their own children actively or to let their children feel safety in daily life. Also it was indicated that the mothers who were difficult to obtain informational support from her husband and friends showed less self-efficacy to interact with the children actively. On the other hand, the amount of social support by the professionals wasn't relating to the self-efficacy of parenting. The effective quality and quantity of social support for the mothers of children with .developmental difficulties were discussed.
