Abstract	Although the Japanese economy will in the future require increasing numbers of graduates for top-level jobs in the service sector, it appears that since 1980, most of the jobs which are propesed to gr...aduates are as office workers in service companies or as skilled operatives in industry. This gap between the graduate's expectations and reality has produced a profound sence of dissatisfaction among workers, and a move towards higher education among high-scholl graduates.show more
