Abstract |
In this paper, the earlier work on so-called "power-normal distribution" is extended to a multivariate case, especially focusing on a bivariate one. The power-normal distribution is a family of distri...butions including the truncated normal and the lognormal. The present work introduces the moments and other related properties of the bivariate power-normal distribution. The numerical illustrations are provided to demonstrate the elements and the applications of the distribution.show more
