Abstract |
Let $ X $ and $ Y $ be two independent random variables. It is important in practical situations to evaluate the difference between the distributions of $ X $ and $ Y $ . We focus on the inference bas...ed on $ \theta = P(X<Y)/P(X>Y) $. $ \theta $ is an extension of the odds ratio in $ 2 \times 2 $ tables. An unbiased estimating function for $ \theta $ is proposed by using the pairwise estimating functions. The variance of the proposed estimating funciton can be estimated unbiasedly. We present methods for stratified data and examplify them in a practical example.show more
