| 概要 | The 21st Annual HEnDA National High School English Debate Tournament (2026) centers on the following resolution: "Resolved: That the Japanese government should eliminate all tariffs on imported rice."... This resolution arrives at a critical juncture in Japan's rice policy history, as the country has been grappling with a severe rice shortage since the summer of 2024, soaring consumer prices, and mounting international pressure to liberalize its agricultural markets.
