概要 |
Building Information Modelling (BIM) is a transformative technology that integrates three-dimensional modelling with asset management, offering enhanced visualization and improved decision-making capa...bilities throughout the building lifecycle. This study explores the implementation of scan to BIM technology for asset management in the Faculty of Civil Engineering and Built Environment (FKAAB) at Universiti Tun Hussein Onn Malaysia. The methodology involved three key phases: laser scanner data collection, asset database development, and asset validation. A Traverse survey and Trigonometry method were used to collect precise coordinate data, which was processed and integrated into a BIM model using Autodesk Revit and ARCHIBUS software. The resulting asset database significantly improved the accuracy and reliability of asset information, facilitating better management and maintenance. The study showed the benefits of scanning to BIM technology in asset management and suggested future research on automating data integration and exploring Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning (ML) applications.続きを見る
