Survival rate of planted trees in Kasuya Research Forest Arboretum

Abstract 九州大学農学部附属福岡演習林の樹木園において、1977年以降に試験植栽された演習林自生種と演習林外の国内自生種、外来種、園芸品種68科340種の植栽記録を精査し、植栽位置が特定できた個体について生存率と胸高直径を調査した。植栽記録があり2013年時点までの枯死または現存の照合が可能な個体は4430本であり、この内の現存本数は1853本、生存率は41.8%であった。
Survival rate and... diameter of breast height of planted species, which enable to specify the planted points, growing in Arboretum of Fukuoka Research Forest since 1977 were studied. Studied trees are from 70 families and 340 species, which can be categorized into native species in Kasuya Research Forest, native species in the other place of Japan, alien species, or horticultural varieties. The 4430 individuals could be identified the planted history and life or death in 2013. The 1853 individuals were survived, and the survival rate was 41.8%.show more
