The Nouren Plaza firstly reopened as the market building of the project. Thi...s paper analyzed the current situation and issues of the Nouren Plaza. The Noren Plaza currently has problems such as confusion of store locations due to redevelopment, retirement of managers and lending these stores to others. As a result, many stores, particularly retail stores and restaurants, have become difficult to manage. If all redevelopment is completed, the surrounding population and parking space are expected to increase. Various measures are necessary to take advantage of this opportunity. Therefore, we must consider “local production for local consumption” that spreads concentrically around Okinawa. In order to be accepted not only by tourists but also by local consumers, it is important to make the Nohaku Plaza a base for Okinawan food culture.
