| Abstract | 本研究は、国際結婚女性が韓国に移住し定着する過程においてメディアテクノロジーがアクターとしてどのような役割をするのかといった質問に対する答えを求めた。アクターネットワーク理論を分析の概念的枠組みとして用い、中国出身の七名の国際結婚女性を対象として深層面接を行った。研究の結果、国際結婚女性が移住以前の時期に扱った主なメディアテクノロジーはテレビであり、韓国定着後に扱ったメディアテクノロジーアクターネ...ットワークはパソコン、インターネット、スマートフォン、サイバーラーニングなどといったより多様なアクターであった。メディアアクターネットワークとの相互作用は女性の国境を越えた移住に貢献し、韓国での定着過程においては結婚移民女性の時空間的経験の転換とアイデティティの転換の経験などをもたらした。韓国に居住している国際結婚女性とメディアテクノロジーアクターネットワークというブラックボックスを解体することで、メディアテクノロジーだけでなく人間以外の多様なアクター間の相互作用が国際結婚女性の生活の場の移動と転換過程に重要な役割を果たしているといった点を提示できた。そして最終的に本研究の内容と実践的含意を議論した。 This study paid attention to the life experiences of marriage migrant women created through their interactions with media technologies in their migration and post-migration adjustment processes, and how they became empowered to become an autonomous agent in their lives. This study applied Actor Network Theory as an analytical framework, which has proved to be useful in understanding the contemporary daily life experiences heavily intertwined with modern technologies. This study collected data by conducting an in-depth interview with 7 marriage migrants from China. The findings of the study include: Television was the main media technology the interviewees were engaged in prior to migration. In Korea, the media technologies these women used were more diverse as they learned to make use of computer, internet, smartphone, SNS and cyber learning. While the interviewees made a decision on their migration in their homeland based on the lopsided information fed by the television, they were able to develop networks with more diversified media technologies when they arrived in Korea, which opened up transformative spatiotemporal experiences for these women and helped them to develop identities as an autonomous subject in their life and ones with cosmopolitan outlook who refuse to be pigeonholed just as international marriage migrant. Disassembling the blackbox of marriage migrant women's media technology actor network revealed the complexity of numerous human and non-human actors at macro, meso, and micro levels interacting with each other and the consequences of the interactions among these actors on these women's decisions for migration and for inventing their new identities and life paths. Research and practice implications were discussed at the end.show more |
