| 概要 | 「ロシア帝国および大タタール図」 F.ギュッセフェルト（1744～1807） 1786年 ニュールンベルク ドイツのギュッセフェルトのこの図の日本はケンペル型であるが、その北には渡島半島部分だけの「松前島」がある。しかし、カムチャッカ半島から千島列島は比較的正しく並んでおり、カムチャッカの東にはアリューシャン列島も示されている。ただ、アムール川河口の「く」の字型のサハリンのほかに、その南の大陸沿岸に...もサハリン南東部の海岸線が描かれ、18世紀末でも日本の北方地域はまだ正確には認識されていなかったことがわかる。 小野菊雄2002（第43回中央図書館貴重文物展観図録） “The Russian Empire and the Great Tatar” F. However, the Kuril islands are relatively well lined up with the Kamchatka Peninsula, and the Aleutian islands are shown to the east of Kamchatka. In addition to the angular bracket-shaped Sakhalin at the mouth of the Amur River, the southeastern coast of Sakhalin is depicted along the southern continental coast, which indicates that even at the end of the 18th century, Japan’s northern region was not yet accurately recognized.続きを見る |
