| 概要 | 「タタール・中国朝鮮および日本王国全図」 T.マイヤー（1723～62）1749年 ニュールンベルク ドイツの地図製作者マイヤーがフランスのダンヴィル（ 1697-1782） の「中国・タタール図」（1732年）を複製出版したもので、ケンペル型の日本の北には、南部が渡島半島の形の「JEDSO-GASIMA」がある。 その北には南北にのびる大きな陸地があって、その東岸はサハリン南東岸の形に似ている。ま...た、北のアムール川河口付近に「く」の字型のサハリンがみられるが、これらは、この地域についての当時の混乱した知識を表したものと言える。 小野菊雄2002（第43回中央図書館貴重文物展観図録） “Tatar, China, Kingdom of Japan” T. Mayer (1723–62) 1749 Nuremberg. A German cartographer Mayer reproduced and published the “Tatar China Map” (1732 ) by d'Anville’s (1697–1782 ) in France, in the south of the Kaempfer-style shape of the north of Japan; the Oshima peninsula is rendered in the “JEDSO-GASIMA” shape. To its north, there is a large stretch of land extending from north to south; its eastern coast resembles the shape of the southeastern Sakhalin. Sakhalin islands shaped like an angular bracket near the mouth of the Amur River appear in the north, which represents the mystifying knowledge of the area at the time.続きを見る |
