| 概要 |
This study examined the concept of Linking Experience of Object and Self (LEOS) and its impact on mental health. The LEOS scale (LEOSS) was administered, and the Japanese edition of K10 measured menta...l health status. The participants were 154 university students. Factor analysis of the LEOSS identified three dimensions (F1: object-selfaffinity, F2: trust and sensitivity to one’s senses, and F3: attitude of distancing oneself from what one feels). Internal consistency was measured by Cronbach’s alpha (α=.681). Three groups, 1) not-occur (39%), 2) utilization (46%), and 3) excess (14%), were extracted. The F3 score had a significant negative effect on the K10 score. Additionally, the average score of 1) and 2) was less than the K10 cut-off point. These results suggest that LEOS is a sensitive person’s experience connecting the object with the self and trusting that feeling. Furthermore, by distancing themselves from their emotions, they protect their mental health. Additionally, approximately 50% of individuals maintain their mental health daily using LEOS.続きを見る
