概要 |
'Jisui-Juku' is a self-cooking learning program established in 2013 as an experience-oriented practical food education lecture in Kyushu University. This unprecedented university-wide food education w...as conceived to cultivate young generations who can empathize with cooking persons and food producers and can spontaneously build a mutually-supporting relationship between consumers and producers through experiencing consumer life based on self-cooking. The educational goals were achieved through 1) giving priority to the acquisition of tacit knowledge over linguistic knowledge, and 2) actively using social network service such as Facebook and eating together home-made dishes brought one by one. Interestingly, some of the students who were able to acquire self-cooking ability at Jisui-Juku began to be voluntarily active for building deeper mutually-supportive relationships with food producers and business owners. The phenomenon suggests that the experience-oriented food education for increasing students carrying out consumer life based on self-cooking will contribute to the development of active learners that promote to the sustainability of local consumption and production activities.続きを見る
