概要 |
The aim of this paper is to examine the relation between fathers' child-care attitude and mothers' child-care anxiety. It is generally said that the higher mothers' frequency of the communication with... father, the lower mothers' child-care anxiety is and that the higher fathers' frequency of the participation in child-care, the higher mothers' satisfaction and the lower mothers' child-care anxiety are. Increasing participation of mothers in work out of home, fathers are expected to participate in the child-care, and actually they do. But only few researches have so far been made at the view of fathers' child-care attitude. Then we made an investigation on child-care anxiety into 570 pairs of kindergarten pupils' parents. At this time, we classified fathers' child-care attitude into four types by using two standards. The first is fathers' self-evaluation for fathers' participation in child-care. The second is mothers' evaluation for fathers' participation in child-care. So, we classify the fathers' child-care attitude four types according to self-evaluation and other-evaluation. Mothers' child-care anxiety is divided into four types. The first is general child-care anxiety. The second is child-care anxiety about their children's growth and development. The third is child-care anxiety about one's own ability of child-care. The fourth is child-care anxiety about frustration through their child-care. These analyses lead to the results as follows: (1) The degree of mothers' child-care anxiety is high on condition that the frequency of the communication about the child-care between the couples is low or there is a difference in recognition of the frequency of the communication about the child-care between the couples, even if fathers' self-evaluation for fathers' participation in child-care is high, if mothers' evaluation for fathers' participation in child-care is high. (2) Mothers' evaluation for fathers' participation in child-care is high, mothers' satisfaction for child-care is high and mothers' child-care anxiety is low on condition that there is a same in recognition of the frequency of the communication about the child-care between the couples, even if fathers' self-evaluation for fathers' participation in child-care is low. These results lead to the conclusion that mothers' satisfaction is high and mothers' child-care anxiety is low on condition that father and mother recognize that the frequency of the communication about the child-care between the couples is high, this has no relationship to fathers' participation in child-care.続きを見る
