概要 |
The purpose of the present study was to explore criteria that laypersons using when they evaluate quality of everyday explanations. Both in the scientific context, and in the everyday contexts, univer...sity students asked to selected two explanations that seemed valid and invalid. And the students were asked evaluations of those explanations based on scientific criteria and anthropological criteria. The results showed that students understood partially which criteria were important in scientific context. However, there were qualitative differences between criteria that students thought important in the scientific context and that in the everyday context. In the everyday context, students judged validity of explanations based on not only scientific criteria but anthropological criteria.続きを見る
