Type materials of insects housed in the collection of the Biosystematics Laboratory, Graduate School of Social and Cultural Studies, Kyushu University, Fukuoka (BLKU), which follows the collection of ...the Biological Laboratory, College of General Education, Kyushu University, are cataloged. Each entry is arranged alphabetically by order, family, genus (subgenus, if published), and species (and subspecies, when published). All species are cited under the original combination followed by year of publication, abbreviated reference to the journal of the original description, volume, number and pages, sex and condition of specimens (dried, in alcohol or on slide). For holotypes and syntypes, all label data associated with the specimens are cited: in the data a slush "/" indicates the new paragraph on a label and a double slush "
