| 概要 | The software formant speech synthesizer, published by Klatt(1980), was implemented on a 16-bit personal computer. Klatt's original FORTRAN listings for the synthesizer and control program were rewritt...en in BASIC, adding some optional routines such as the graphical display of variable control parameter data and generated waveforms. Using the output routine, its part being written in 8086 machine code, synthetic speech sounds could be played through a 12-bit digital-to-analog converter, analog low-pass filter, and the appropriate audio equipments such as amplifiers, speaker, earphone, or tape recorder. As an example of application of this system, a preliminary experiment of identification and discrimination with a series of two-formant stop consonants varying the starting frequency of second formant transition was described.続きを見る |
