概要 |
Remarkable catalytic performances of PAN-ACF (polyacrylonitrile derived active-carbon fiber) for the reduction of nitric oxide with ammonia are reviewed. The catalytic activity of PAN-ACF at 150℃ was ...remarkably enhanced by the activation with sulfuric acid, depending on the kind of PAN-ACF, to be much larger than those of commercial active carbons. The activation with sulfuric acid was revealed to produce surface oxygen-functionalities which act as the active sites for nitric oxide and ammonia with the cooperation of nitrogen-functionality on the surface. PAN-ACF was also found to exhibit much more excellent desulfurization activity than that of active carbon around 140℃. By combining such high performances of PAN-ACF for de-NOx and de-SOx, possible prototypes for the simultaneous removal of NOx and SOx in the exhaust gas using PAN-ACF were proposed.続きを見る
