概要	Methyl [2.2] metacyclophanes were prepared and their bromination with NBS was carried out in order to obtain the corresponding bromomethyl derivatives. The desired bromomethyl derivatives were obtaine...d in good yield in most cases. However, it was found that 5-bromomethyl-13-methoxy [2.2] metacyclophane was not formed in bromination of 5-methoxy-13-methyl [2.2] metacyclophane with NBS and that treatment of 5-tert-butyl-8-methoxy-13-methyl [2.2] metacyclophane with NBS afford 2-bromomethyl-7-tert-buthylpyrene in good yield.続きを見る
