概要 The purpose of this study was conducted to evaluate the blood pressure, the pulse rate and the degree of health based on body temperature in high school pupils. The measurement of oral temperature, b...lood pressure and pulse rate in resting, and health check was taken of 233 males and 238 females in high school new pupils. The results were summarized as follows: 1. The phenomenon of low body temperature was observed in males and females. However, there were no sex differences in the average of oral temperature. 2. Systolic and diastolic blood pressure were observed to be higher in males than in females, respectively. Systolic and diastolic blood pressure in male subjects were higher in the group above 37.0'C than in the low body temperature group, respectively. 3. Pulse rate was higher in females than in males and the rate of tachycardia above 90 beats/minute was higher in females than in males. Pulse rate in male and female subjects were higher in the group above 37.0'C than in the low body temperature group, respectively. 4. There were no sex differences in the results of physical, mental, social and total health, and the degree of health was at the average level in males and females, respectively. 5. From the results in health check, the rate of lack of breakfast in males showed a higher tendency than that of females, and a sleeping time was significantly longer in males than in females. These results suggest that body temperature, blood pressure and pulse rate are useful as an index of health status in pupils in question, when health care and health guidance are performed in school.続きを見る
