概要 |
This study examines the factors affecting non-essential and non-urgent outings during the stay-at-home requests of the COVID-19 pandemic from the Theory of Planned Behavior (TPB; Ajzen, 1991). The TPB... is a psychological theory that proposes that behavioral evaluations affect behavioral intentions and these intentions affect the planned behavior. We surveyed 317 participants with an online questionnaire. The factor analysis results showed three factors related to evaluation: negative evaluation, positive evaluation, and controllability. Structural Equation Modeling examined how these factors affect behavioral intentions and how these intentions affect behavioral tendencies. The results modeled consistently with the three-layered structure of the TPB. It suggests a necessity for further investigation into non-essential and nonurgent outings from the perspective of social cognition models.続きを見る
