概要 |
Ammonite specimens recently donated by Mr. Yukichi OGAWA to the Museum, Bureau of Cultural Center, Kagoshima Prefecture, are identified and listed in Table 1. They came mostly from the Cretaceous (Alb...ian to Maastrichtian) of the United States and adjacent areas, and partly from several other systems or other regions. Selected specimens are illustrated (text-figs.1-12; pls. 7-15) and concisely described under the specific names indicated in Chapter III. Eopachydiscus laevicaniculatus, Mortoniceras sp. aff. M. smedalae, Metoicoceras n. sp. (?) aff. M. praecox, Nigericeras n. sp. aff. N. glabrum, Spathites sp. aff. S. chispaensis and Forresteria (Reesideoceras) n. sp. are especially interesting in that they present new information.続きを見る
