POI : 自己実現尺度の展望と試論

| 概要 | A review was made on the construction of the Personal Orientation Inventory (POI). And we proposed our opinion on the development of a test measuring the extent of a individual's self-actualization. T...his paper consists of five parts as follows : 1) Arranged the process of which POI was constructed and the studies which used POI, 2) the papers which were classified as validity studies were reviewed. And this led to the conclusion that POI has some validity as a whole. We, however, couldn't prove whether sub-scales of POI were all valid or not. 3) We examined the relation between POI and other tests. It seems that POI has something to do with some of other tests. Those tests measure locus of control, anxiety, social desirebility or factorial personality. As we studied above, there seems to be some problems on the scale construction in POI. Therefore, we examined these problems in terms of 'factor' in the two senses. We discussed the better solution to the problems concerning the concept of self-actualization. Last, the remained problems, such as the translation into Japanese, were briefly discussed. POIの尺度構成に関する文献展望を行ない,自己実現を測定する尺度の今後の展開についての試論を提出した。その記述は5つの部分にわけられた。まず,1)POIの作成過程と研究領域について整理した。次に,2)POIの妥当性研究に関する論文を展望した。その結果,POIは,全体としては,妥当性を持つと結論づけてよいように思われた。しかし,下位尺度のすべてが妥当かどうかについては,明確な結論を得ることができなかった。また,3)POIと他のテストとの関連性について検討した。POIは,幾つかの種類のテストと統計的に関連しているとして整理された。それらは,locus of control,不安,社会性,知的活動,および,因子論的人格論に関する検査である。以上の検討から,POIは,未完成な幾つかの問題点を持っていると考えられた。そこで,4)尺度構成上の問題点について,「因子性」の観点から検討した。そして,5)それらの問題の解決について,自己実現概念との関連において論議した。最後に,日本語化の問題など,残された問題について,簡単に言及した。続きを見る |
