| 概要 | In task-based language teaching, it is now recognized that alongside communicative tasks, there needs to be some degree explicit of focus-on-form. Svalberg (2009) has proposed the conceptual construct... of engagement with language (EWL) as a framework for exploring how learners build their language awareness. To date, however, only a handful of SLA studies have utilized the EWL construct. This article aims to persuade language teachers/researchers of the potential utility the EWL framework holds for better investigating the efficacy of form-focused tasks and advocates for its more widespread use as a research construct.続きを見る |
