The study was researched on the trends of water quality using lysimeters to examine utilization of creek for purifying water quality. Two experiments purifying awter quality have been executed, the first one was the model of circulating creek water through fallow paddy field, the second one was the model of hydroponics on the surface of the creek absorbing nutrient sich salts. In the case of the circulating model, nutrient rich salts in the creek greatly decreased depending on neither frequency of circulating nor land use condition. It was observed that the more frequently creek water circulate, the more rapidly crops on the fallow field grow. In the case of hydroponics models, watercress, dropwort and peppermint were grown, purifying water quality was'nt observed remarkably. As a result of these experiments, for removing nutrient rich salts from creek, is's so effective to corclating creek water through paddy fields, even if there are no crops on the foelds, water purification woks. It was shown that hydroponics on the surface of the creek would be possible with easy method using foam polystyrene. Henceforth, we are looking for aquatic plants, which are adequate for purifying water quality, and our intention is to examine new utilization of creek for purifying water quality.
