We visited Yantai University, located at Yantai, Shandong province, China, during September 22 and 27, 2004, with menbers who join the China-Japan joint symposium on agricultural, forestry and environmental sciences. The main of Yantai University is education of the undergraduate-level with students of 25000. Yantai University wad founded in 1984 and its quick enlargement was understood by viewing of construction of new buildings in the campus. Before and during the joint symposium, we had interview to President and Head of Student Management Section of Yantai Universuty to get information on the university administration. Our interest was focused in the educational system and the administration on student affairs of the university. The information on these items of Yantai University was compared with that of Kyushu University to improve the administration on student affairs of our university.
