Appropriate environmental preservation techniques by which the ecosystem in the region were considered, and in this research, the living thing, the water quality, and the ecosystem ware investigated. The feature of the ecosystem in the object region was clarified by theinvestigation result, and the region was divided into the districts as 'the upland croparea +forest area', 'the rice field area+the vicinity of river area', 'hilled area', and 'the coexistance district of crop production area +residental area.' In addition, the confronted environmental problems of the various place district were extracted and the indicators were proposed to establish the project for maintaining the agricultural farm village environment. The living thing aspect in an agricultural region forms the ecosystem, which relates closely to the environment and the farming situation in each region, and the introduction of the technique by this report enables to start the program by which the environment is considered to be executed appopriately. It is thught that the environmental preservation technique in such agricultural farm village maintenance can apply also to other maintenance of a natural environment.
