概要 |
We are developing the unsteady numerical model called the RIAM-COMPACT (Research Institute for Applied Mechanics, Kyushu University, Computational Prediction of Airflow over Complex Terrain). The RIAM...-COMPACT is based on the LES (Large-Eddy Simulation) which is a kind of a turbulence model. The object domain of the RIAM-COMPACT is from several m to several km, and can predict the airflow and gas diffusion over complex terrain with high precision. In the present numerical study, we carried out the large-eddy simulation (LES) of flow past a building by using an artificially generated inflow turbulence. Particular emphasis was placed on the effect of inflow turbulence on the wake region generated behind the building. Through comparisons between two cases with and without inflow turbulence, no significant change is confirmed in the flow characteristics, similar to the previous numerical study. It was shown that the influence generated by originating in the separated flow is dominant in the wake region. In addition, the influence of the descretization of convective terms and the difference in the elapsed time were discussed.続きを見る
