We have developed the `Inter-Nodes Distance Index,' which consists of the average and standard deviation of the shortest distance between 2 nodes, in order to evaluate the balance in mobility among di...stricts in a region. The purpose of this study is to show the effectiveness of applying this index to evaluate an actual road network. In this paper, the effectiveness of the trunk roads in the Fukuoka city region is evaluated from the viewpoint of the balance of mobility level over the whole region and each district. Further, the optimum order of road construction is investigated based on the amount of saved trip time during the period of construction.続きを見る
