概要 |
This is a basic study on the usage of mobile phone as a tool to collect medical information for pregnancy and delivery. Data was collected by distributing questionnaires to those who attended parental... school programs. A total of 252 respondents, including 170 mothers and 82 fathers are asked whether they usually collect information for pregnancy and delivery through e-mail system on mobile phone or not. 159 mothers (94.1%) and 79 fathers (97.5%) answered that they had mobile phone, and 148 mothers (87.6%) and 68 fathers (85.0%) answered that they used e-mail system daily. The most frequently collected information by e-mail system is "General information on delivery" (17.3%), followed by "General information on childrearing" (15.4%). Mothers are more likely to use e-mail system to collect medical information than fathers. On the other hand, some respondents expected to access in near future such contents as "Caloric calculation" and "Lists of emergency hospitals nearby". The result of this study suggested that it is worth developing digital contents on medical information for pregnancy and delivery, although the contents must be carefully chosen to meet the need of users.続きを見る
