概要 | This study, as the 2nd part of manaita related research, has the purpose of clarifying the Chinese zu(俎) influence on Japanese furniture. Mainly based on historical materials and data examination, the... following were elucidated: 1) Chinese zu(俎) in the Yin (殷) dynasty already had leg applications and the An(案), Ki(几) types were also already being used in this same period. 2) The early Chinese An(案) can be divided into two types: a taller-legged type which had an influence on the zu(俎), and a shorter-legged type that had no direct influence on the zu(俎). 3) Although there exists a partial influence of the early Chinese Ki(几) on the zu(俎) . it is not as strong as the An's(案) influence. 4) Chinese zu(俎) An(案) and Ki(几) functionally changed according to their postural use from the 3rd to the 4th centuries, shifting from a floor-sitting posture to the use of a chair, and then to a standing posture. 5) The Japanese manatia received influence from China until the 7th century, beginning to show its own unique shape from that century on. The early An(案) was strongly influenced by the Chinese Tang period and most Japanese people do not know that it had an influence on the further development of the manaita in Japan.続きを見る |
