| 概要 | These days more and more people make use of the Internet. Every year there appear several estimates of the Internet using population in Japan, but they are quite different from each other. In this pap...er, we compare these estimates by using interval estimation and hypothesis testing, which are basic methods of statistical inference. Section 1 is devoted to the introduction and motivation of our research. In go Section 2, related research are presented. A review of the statistical inference is given in Section 3. In Section 4, some assumptions are given in order to compare the estimates. In Sections 5 and 6, two of the representative estimates are compared. More estimates are compared in Section 7. We also discuss the causes of the differences between the estimates in Section 8. Concluding remarks are given in Section 9.続きを見る |
