| 概要 |
資源の有効活用や地球温暖化防止等への社会的関心の高まりと軌を一にして, 環境負荷の軽減を目的とした環境技術の開発が近年進展する一方で, このような技術に立脚した環境産業が成長しつつある. しかし環境産業の世界的な展開を概観した文献は限られている. この点に鑑み, 本稿では, OECDによる環境関連特許データを用いて, 世界規模での環境産業の地域的な立地について概観することを目的とした. 結果として..., 以下の点を明らかにした. アメリカ, 日本, ドイツ, フランス, イギリスで特許数の約七割を占めた. 既存の産業集積との関係から, 環境産業は大都市に集中する傾向があった. 環境産業を分類ごとにみると, 上記の一般的な立地傾向とは異なる国・地域に環境産業が集積していた.
While the number of clean technologies has drastically increased along with surging social interests for effective resource use or reduction in global warming effects, environment-related industries based on these technologies are growing rapidly. However, research on global locations of such industries is limited. In such research circumstance, using the OECD environment-related patent statistics, the purpose of the present study is to give a thumb sketch for locations of environment-related industries over the globe. Results are summarized as follows. First, almost seventy percent of the total number of environment-related patents were obtained by USA, Japan, Germany, France, and UK. Second, the environment-related industries were chiefly located in metropolitan areas because of accumulation of existing industries. Finally, apart from the aforementioned location of the environment-related industries, these industries were situated in difference countries and regions, like Jutland peninsula, Denmark, from a viewpoint of the individual classification of these industries.続きを見る
