概要 |
In a noun phrase with two modifiers, a demonstrative can be placed in the front, at the middle, and at the end of the two modifiers. These three forms exist in both Japanese and Chinese. It is confusi...ng for Chinese learners to differentiate these three forms and place the demonstrative properly to reflect what they intend to express in Chinese. The paper investigates the difference of these three forms, and compares them between Japanese and Chinese. We point out that the demonstrative in the same position serves a different function in Chinese than that in Japanese. Such a functional difference introduces one of the top difficulties for a lot of Chinese learners to master Chinese.続きを見る
