A flavin was isolated and crysterized from the methanol extracts of the black epidermis of freezed Bigeye Tunna. It was identified with riboflavin by paper chromatography and spectrophotometry. The direct relation was not found between riboflavin and melanin contents of the black epidermis of some tunnies.
