Adding urea, the number of bacteria and protozoa seem to increase by using NH_40H which is produced by urease (Tables 2 and 3). It seems that protozoa use urea as well as NH_4OH for there growth, but bacteria use generally NH_4OH produced by urease, and that bacteria can not increase in heigh density of urea solution. In this study the solution of urea (0.5%-3%) seems to be moderate for the growth of becteria (Tables 2 and 3). In this study it has been recognized that the number of bacteria generally is increased more than the control, however about the case of the urea indecomposable bacteria, there is no remarkable difference in the number between the control (Table 2). And it is often observed that the decrease in the number is anti-urease or the restraint by protozoa.
