概要 In Duszniki-Zdroj, a country town in southwest part of Republic of Poland, there is a music festival which has continued for 65 years. It is the International Chopin Piano Festival in Duszniki-Zdroj. ...The author visited this annual event in 2009. Generally, when attending classical music concert, before listening to the performance, we often read the profile of the musician written in the handbill or program booklet. There are as many interpretations as the number of musicians so the individuality of each artist decides about the character of the concert and our will to attend such events. Artist's profiles are also one of the most important mediums which inform the audience about the appearing amusician beforehand and can be the first clue to knowing something about them for the audience. These can also be the most important promotion tool for musicians. Most musicians, not only the young, make their profile by themselves, however, because of their lack of making knowledge and ineffectiveness, there are unconvincing for audiences. Actually, how are the artist's profiles written and what do they tell to us? The purpose of this text is to analyze artist's profiles, consider the important role of such tools and think through how to write a profile with bigger effect. Analysis samples were taken from the program booklet of the Festival, because this festival invites young talented pianist from all over the world with the main purpose of promoting them.続きを見る
