This study aims to propose an evaluative framework for the lexicographic descriptions in learner’s dictionaries from the perspective of frame semantics (Fillmore 1982, 1985). The focus is placed on th...e descriptions of core frame elements of the frame evokers, examining whether the realization forms are provided in each entry. The results show that information is not satisfactory as to some core frame elements. Descriptions of noun frame evokers were also investigated, which clarified that collocational information of support verbs are insufficient in many dictionaries.続きを見る
