概要 | This paper includes two trials. One is consideration about the social influence that the spread and expansion of the literacy brought. I tried to estimate concrete and correct literacy rate until now ...although previous scholars have discussed the literacy rate was high. However, it lacks to discuss the historic significance by having estimated the literacy rate. How did they learn in concrete life scene, how had the letter been treated? I consider how concrete life changed by the spread and expansion of the reading and writing capability in this paper. The other trial is possibility to utilize literary work as historical materials. Literary work was rarely treated as historic materials in the history of education study until now. In this paper, I use a work of IHARA, Saikaku as historical materials. The realism of the works of Saikaku is a characteristic of his works. Such works of realism really reflected the thought of the living of common people. The works of Saikaku will clarify the diverse aspects of learning of letter in the society of the late 17th century.続きを見る |
